29 July
promised to cook dinner for uncle koh todae.
all right, there we go...

at 4pm i went to defreeze the minced pork.
todae we going to have maggi chilli sauce with sausages, steamed dark sauce minced pork and minced pork soup.
uncle koh loves meat so everything meat todae, no veg :p

cos we nd to leave by 6pm (he working at 8pm), we got to use spoon to "melt/defreeze" the meat...
uncle koh in charge of "melting" meat...
i went to cut onions and sausages...5 sausages. enough for us la.

uncle koh then went to prepare rice. i scared 1 cup of rice not enough ma...he bringing to work and sugar doggie also taking a share, so i suggested 2 cups.
in e end too much :p

i fried the sausages, and uncle koh got help me.
he likes to give his view abt when add wat, abt when food ready so let him decide lo >___<

we added chilli sauce and abit water and stirred for awhile...one dish done :D

next to prepare steamed minced pork.i marniated the pork with salt, soya sauce, pepper, ma you, cornflour, red onions (chopped into v tiny pieces...almost cried...)and uncle koh spread the meat onto a plate and put to steam.
i went to prepare the soup...
my mum told me we nd to mash the pork further, uncle koh said dun nd la.
ok lo listen to him loh and he marinated the pork...
water boiled, i added the chicken stock to get better taste...and uncle koh put the pork into soup...cos he dont wan to mash the pork, the meat were in cubes/rounds shapes...

all right when soup boiled, we added salt and tested the taste.
the other steamed pork also ready...
ok la give credit, uncle koh was the one watching over it and i dont dare to touch the plate cos so hot man!
i watched him take the plate out from the hot wok in living room on sofa with sugar hahahahahaaha! me and sugar siam ah! :p

and DONE :D
dinner ready to serve.
sausages were great.
soup not bad.
steamed meat was excellent esp with the sauce, sauce and meat just nice, not too salty at all.

we too engrossed in eating till we forgot to take pics :D
so made do with this ...

todae cooking session more organised, cos last time uncle koh and i would have different view on same thing and ended up v messy, cos one of us would redo the thing our own way. alot of time wasted.

this time i told uncle koh wat i wan to do, he helped me and he would just give views.
if i dont agree, he would not insist.
of course i would also listen to his views de la, like he wanted to stir sausages for a while more while i tot "why must cook longer since they can be eaten without cooking. we just ensure the sauce well mixed can le ma."

i did not have a full meal and started to pack food for big baby. rinsed containers and placed food into them,he bringing Ai Xin meal to work...
poor me got to clean up everything, wok la, pot la, utensils la while master showered.
still got to search for clean plastic bag for him sigh.... >___<
